You are invited to the upcoming event, “Moving Research to Publication,” sponsored by the Institute of Public Health and the Center for Diabetes Translation Research.
The purpose of this event is to bring together Washington University researchers and collaborators to publish research that informs clinical and community approaches to promoting health equity in the prevention and treatment of type 2 diabetes and obesity.
This is a product-oriented event focused on T3 (research to clinical practice) or T4 (implementing and testing solutions at the population level) manuscripts.
Invitees will leave with: writing collaborators, manuscript outline, target journal, and timeline to submission-publication.
Administrative and financial support will be available to invitees until the successful submission of their paper.

Registration and breakfast will open at 8:30am. Lunch will be served at noon.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The Taylor Avenue Building (600 S. Taylor Ave.) is located at the intersection of Scott and Taylor Avenues on Washington University’s Medical Campus, just one block away from the Central West End MetroLink station.

Visitor Parking

Free, limited visitor parking is available in two-hour increments in the lot in front and around the back of the building. Do not park on Medex or spots for 660 S. Taylor. If the lots are full or your meeting is longer than 2 hours, please park in the Clayton Avenue Garage (Clayton and South Taylor Avenue - map Brown 62). If parked at garage, please ask IPH staff for parking validation.

Parking Permit Reciprocity for WUSTL Employees

The Medical Campus recognizes Danforth Campus yellow, red, and Eliot permits in the Clayton Avenue Garage only. Please take a ticket when entering Clayton Garage and before leaving the garage please put your name, phone number and current permit number on the back of the ticket. Upon exiting the garage, show your permit and give your ticket to the attendant. Questions regarding parking at the Medical School can be directed to the FISC desk at (314) 362-3100. Please note: the attendant is only available from 11AM to 7PM.
